DRGT Unveils Next-Gen Casino Tech

DRGT Unveils Next-Gen Casino Tech at Landmark ICE Barcelona Showcase

DRGT, a global provider of casino management systems and jackpot technology, made a strong impression at the debut of ICE Barcelona, unveiling a new suite of advanced web-based applications designed to elevate casino floor operations and player engagement.

Held in late January at Fira Gran Via, ICE 2025 marked the event’s first-ever edition outside the UK, attracting top-tier exhibitors and industry leaders from across the globe. DRGT’s booth at Stand 3D35 enjoyed prime positioning and high footfall, with attendees showing strong interest in the company’s latest innovations.

Executive Chairman Jurgen De Munck praised the event’s flawless execution. “What Clarion delivered, essentially from a green field, was phenomenal—for us as exhibitors and for the thousands attending ICE Barcelona,” he said. “Our booth location was excellent, the dedicated halls for land-based and online sectors worked perfectly, and the logistics from setup to teardown were top-notch.”

CEO Marco Herrera echoed the praise, admitting initial doubts about moving from London’s ExCel to a new venue. “I was a little anxious about how well Barcelona would live up to what we were used to in London but I was blown away,” he said.

To mark the occasion, DRGT also hosted a private client event at the 1881 per Sagardi rooftop restaurant, which Herrera described as “breath-taking.” He confirmed that planning for ICE 2026 is already underway.

Spotlight on Innovation

DRGT used ICE 2025 to showcase five key technology offerings—three new software solutions and two enhanced mobile applications—all focused on providing operators and players with seamless, real-time gaming experiences:

  • idrServiceHub – The backbone of DRGT’s new software suite, supporting both drFloorManager and drAnalytics. This tool enables operators to monitor equipment, log key events, and manage EGM maintenance in real-time.

  • drFloorManager – A live monitoring platform that allows casino staff to remotely oversee gameplay and player activity from any device.

  • drAnalytics – Dubbed the “jewel” of the portfolio, this reporting engine offers deep data insights, custom KPIs, interactive dashboards, pivot tables, and trend visualization tools.

  • drPlayerApp – An enhanced version of DRGT’s cashless gaming solution, now featuring loyalty and promotional integrations powered by drAnalytics.

  • drStaffApp – A brand-new staff communication app offering encrypted alerts on big wins, flagged player arrivals, AML issues, and casino floor updates.

Herrera noted that drAnalytics and drStaffApp drew the most attention at the show, highlighting their ability to boost personalization and service efficiency.

“We all know the key differentiator for any business is how it engages, understands, and serves its customers,” said Herrera. “These tools take that to the next level. One of the reasons I joined DRGT was its player-first design philosophy—and I truly believe we’re living up to that.”

Looking ahead, DRGT will continue its international momentum with a showcase at G2E Asia in Macau this May, further advancing its global expansion plans.
